Garnet is a natural semi-precious stone with a beautiful dark red colour.

Its colours varies between deep dark red to burgundy or bright translucent red.

Since ancient times, Garnet's traditional red colour was associated with the heart and blood. Thus, people believed garnet's mystical purview included the power to counter melancholy, stir the heart to great deeds, prevent haemorrhage, and improve circulation.

Garnet's colour and inner fire could also presumably stir a person's creative energy. Garnets have been symbolically associated with life force, especially the feminine life force. In Europe during the Middle Ages, the clergy valued garnets as symbols of Christ's blood and sacrifice.

Choose your length:This design is meant to worn as a medium short length around 40-42 cm (between 16'' and 18'') but as most of our customers know, we make them specially fitted for you. So we follow the trend this year, and our customers request to wear it quite short, so it should fit just at the level of your neckline. Furthermore, you might like to wear it layered with additional necklaces, so we can always add extension chains to let you the possibility to adjust the size also in accordance to your outfit.
